Troy has the best demo’s, the best staff and is the friendliest place to shop for skis in Vail. Go nowhere else if you are a rippin’ skier and want only the best gear.
Thank you so much! We’d had our skis tuned in LA before we came to Vail. The guys in LA did a great job, but unfortunately the job they did wasn’t the right one for CO snow.
Troy discussed with us what our concerns were, recommended a re-tune/wax, but didn’t push at all.
It was the best decision we made, other than coming to Vail in the first place. Our 2nd day was close to perfect and properly tuned equipment made all the difference.

I have been going to Troy’s for about 6 years for Demo Rentals whenever I go to Vail, which is about 3 times per winter. They and far and away the best, most friendly and efficient shop I have ever used. I have been skiing for almost 40 years and never found anyone better. I bring all my friends and recommend them to everyone I know who goes to Vail. I recommend them highly. You will never be disappointed.
We have been using Troy’s ski shop for several years now and they are simply the best ski shop in Vail. Their demos are new, and they always recommend the right skis for the conditions. The customer service is first class. They are speedy and helpful. Someone is always waiting on the step at the end of the day to grab your skis. They also rent boots which fit perfectly. I delayed buying my own boots because the rental ones are so good. Troy’s ski shop is simply the best place to rent skis in vail. I send all my friends there now. You will not be disappointed.
